March Baby Showers Bring April Babies!

Thanks to everyone who made Lincoln's Baby Shower so much fun!
Here are a few pics of the big event.

Isn't the cake adorable?...even better, it was so yummy!

The centerpieces were so cute...

and work double duty as room decor in the nursery now!

This looked SO good...

but I think I'll hold off on introducing Lincoln to margaritas for a few more years at least.

So many friends on the way for our little one to play with...but boy!,

look what a difference 10 weeks makes in that belly bump!

I love this picture!

Happy Heather!

Daddy came to say thanks and help load up all of the goodies! What a guy!

Lions, Tigers and...MONKEYS, oh my!

Work on the nursery begins! Daddy did an excellent job putting together the glider and bookcase. Mommy was wise and hired someone to put the crib together.

Whew! After all that work, dad needed a nap!

(Check out those cowyboy boots!)

And a few pictures of the semi-finished product!

It's a Boy!

When we found out we were expecting a baby there was no question as to whether or not we'd find out if we were having a little boy or little girl. As matter of fact, we had to push the "Big Sonogram" appointment back a week and the suspense almost killed me. Here's a picture of baby boy at 20 weeks on the day we found out he was indeed a boy. Knowing what we are having has made bonding with the baby so fun! Of course, now I'm completely outnumbered in this house and I'm convinced it's going to be taken over by smelly shoes, football and hot dogs...but that's okay...I can't wait!

And then there were three...well, okay 4!

When we found out that our little family was going to expand to include a new baby, we were so excited we just couldn't keep the news to ourselves! Luckily, Bailey volunteered to tell Grandma and Grandpa as well as all of our little one's Aunts and Uncles for us! Over the course of the last few months, we've decided that Bailey will love his new little brother, the question is...will we be able to keep him from giving him kisses ALL the time, playing with his toys and howling when he crys? Only time will tell...and we can't wait to see how the boys get along!
